Did the Red Carpet Reveal Too Many Plastic Surgery Secrets?

Plastic Surgery Secrets

Everyone wants a piece of her - Celebrity Lifestyle
February is red carpet season, when the stars come out to shine in their couture fashion and gleaming smiles. Though their glamour may seem effortless, most celebrities spend months preparing for the moment. Personal trainers and chefs whip them into shape while us common folk sit around eating bread. Before the big day, many stars lean on cosmetic treatments to look fresh-faced and flawless.

And then there’s Sylvester Stallone.

Who Messed with the Eye of the Tiger?

It’s not like me to take on Rocky, but it’s obvious that Sly has gone overboard with the plastic surgery. Stallone got an Oscar nod for the film “Creed” this year, and the cameras were trained on his face throughout the awards ceremony. Close-up shots revealed that the Italian Stallion likely had a brow lift, face lift, BOTOX® and dermal fillers. His plastic fantastic face is a cautionary tale of what happens when you don’t heed the “less is more” rule of cosmetic surgery.

Et Tu, Batman?

Ben Affleck might be taking a page from Stallone’s playbook, and I’m not talking about going from acting to directing. Batman appears to have tinkered with the upper portion of his face and now sports a permanently alert expression. Mum’s the word on what Affleck had done, but it looks like someone played a little fast and furious with the Brotox. The actor may have also had an eyelid lift, which his surgeon took too far. For most people, especially those who are famously handsome, the point of plastic surgery is to subtly enhance and rejuvenate authentic features, not alter the face so it’s unrecognizable.

If you want to refresh your appearance, don’t lose hope. A skilled board-certified plastic surgeon can help you to look like the best version of yourself (rather than someone else).
