Your breast surgery is over, you already have a few days of Netflix and chill under your belt and you’re ready to start seeing some results. But what about that side boob thing you have going on, and will your implants be that high forever?

Here are the answers to these burning questions and some tips to make your breast augmentation recovery smooth sailing from here on out.

Good Things Come to Those Who Wait

In the first few days and weeks after getting implants, lots of women are concerned about the fact that their boobs seem to be sticking out to the sides or are sitting too high on their chest. If this sounds like you, don’t panic.

Your breast implants need some time to “drop and fluff” into place, so don’t be alarmed if they’re not everything you wanted and more in the first stage of recovery.

Hold off on Your Shopping Spree

Your boobs are still going to change over these next weeks, so hold off on buying them a bunch of new clothes just yet. This especially goes for bras, because it’s very likely you’re going to be the same size for long.

Get yourself a couple of comfy bras for now, and wait until your implants settle to treat them to a new wardrobe.

Give Your Cosmetic Surgeon a Call

If you have a feeling that something just isn’t quite right during your boob job recovery, get your cosmetic surgeon’s office on the phone. As the saying goes, it’s better to be safe than sorry, so don’t feel like your question isn’t worth asking.
