Would You Have Plastic Surgery to Boost Your Fan Base?

celebrity woman

Plastic SurgeryLive streaming seems to be taking over the internet, with a particularly enthusiastic fan base in China. In fact, China is so pumped about live streaming that they’ve taken the concept to a whole new level. One woman, Jing Qi, opted for a five-hour nose job and facial fat injections just to obtain star status on a popular live streaming platform.

This begs the question: what would you do for fame and fortune?

Hint: Don’t Say Get a Nose Job

With the live streaming boom in China and many other parts of the world, it might be an enticing thought to consider getting plastic surgery in order to win over a larger fan base and, ultimately, make more moolah.

But even though Jing Qi has seen an increase in the virtual gifts that her viewers give her now that she’s gone under the knife, the reality is that getting plastic surgery is a serious decision that shouldn’t be taken lightly. Jing Qi herself even explains that she suffered through her five-hour-long rhinoplasty and fat injections, although she seems to think it was all worth it in the long run.

The Perks of Keeping It Real

Never get plastic surgery for someone else. This is one time where it’s A-Okay to be totally selfish.

If you want to be like Jing Qi and chase after your dreams of internet stardom, all the more power to you. But, please, don’t get a nose job, facelift or any other procedure because you think it’s what your potential fans want.

On the other hand, when you do it for the right reasons, plastic surgery can have plenty of benefits, like boosting your self-esteem, improving your body image and accentuating your natural beauty.
