Tummy Tucks

Would You Spend Half a Million to Look Like Barbie?

Look Like Barbie

Look Like BarbieIt seems the internet has room for one more real life Barbie doll. Nannette Hammond, a 42-year-old mother from Cincinnati, is garnering quite the social media following thanks to her Barbie-Esque looks that she says have cost her half a million dollars.

Beyond the Boobs and Blonde Hair

Hammond says her obsession with the iconic doll began at a very young age. As a young girl, she says she was very shy and self-conscious and wanted the be like the dolls because she imagined how happy she would be if she looked like them. This obsession grew as she got older and now that she has undoubtedly achieved her goal of looking exactly like her plastic-faced idol, she says she is happy, secure and has a better life than Barbie herself.

Boobs and BOTOX® and Hair, Oh My!

The laundry list of procedures and treatments Hammond has received to look like a plastic toy is staggering. Beyond the obvious breast implants, BOTOX® and dermal fillers, she has spent tens of thousands of dollars on hair extensions, veneers, eyelash extensions, spray tans and nail treatments. She maintains a home tanning salon for her daily dose of skin cancer, err…bronze glow, and a home gym where she maintains her 19-inch waist. She doesn’t admit to indulging in a little liposuction and tummy tuck combo, but the fact that she has five children and we’ve seen her endless bikini pics on Instagram leaves us slightly suspicious.

Haters Gonna Hate

There’s no way to look like a walking, talking Barbie doll and not garner attention, some negative. Can you just imagine the other moms at parent pick-up? Hammond says that she knows people gossip and talk about her appearance behind her back, but she loves the way she looks, so that’s all that matters.
