Some surprises are awesome, like winning the lottery or when you find a lip balm in the dryer and by some miracle it hasn’t melted all over your jeans. Some surprises, not so much.
One thing that should definitely not be a surprise is the size of your boobs. This isn’t a “Surprise me, Doc!” situation. When you’re getting implants, you need to know what’s up.
How NOT to Pick Breast Implants
Avoid vague language when you’re describing your ideal boob job results to your surgeon.Don’t pick breast implants like you’re choosing an appetizer at a restaurant and you “trust the server” to decide for you. Don’t pick breast implants like you’re choosing which movie to stream while you fold laundry. And definitely don’t choose breast implants without actually choosing breast implants, like one woman who woke up with boobs she says felt like football pads.
How to Pick Breast Implants
Describing your ideal breasts to your surgeon can be helpful, but using vague terms like “natural” or “full” can be subjective. What’s natural to one surgeon might seem super huge to you. When you’re deciding on your size, make sure you discuss the CCs of your potential implants with your surgeon. Talk about how big they’re going to be, “try them on” in the surgeon’s office and bring some pictures of the end results you’d like to achieve. It’s How to Pick Breast Implants 101.
A boob job is not the right time for a surprise. Choose your surgeon and your implant size wisely.
